NIKE: REACTLAND
Nike launched their new React Running shoe which is soft, bouncy & light, but how can we get consumers to experience them all in a 3 minute trailing experience?
We made “Reactland”, an in-store immersive game where shoppers would run on a treadmill and become the heroes of a game. Players would control an avatar of themselves running through a fantastic land populated with soft clouds, bouncy springs, light pillows and other fun elements to present the benefit of the shoes.
After the experience, players would receieve a 10 second video of themselves running through ‘Reactland’ to share on social media with friends. The game was originally installed in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Guangzhou where 48% of players, bought the shoes. It was later adapted for Berlin and Dubai markets with new animations.
